Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay, Rooi-Els (Eskom direct):
The good news is that Eskom is currently restoring power in Pringle Bay, and electricity has already been restored to some streets.
According to Eskom, Betty’s Bay is still without electricity. A specialist cable team is “on its way as we speak” from Grabouw to conduct further fault-finding investigations.
Gansbaai-Stanford (Municipal direct):
Despite cable theft on the Franskraal line and in the Blompark area, electricity has been restored to all direct municipal customers in Gansbaai and Stanford. Final individual repairs are currently underway in Blompark.
Gansbaai-Stanford farms (Eskom direct):
The Stanford farms and Baardskeerdersbos area, which are supplied directly by Eskom, remain without electricity. No ETR.

Reward offered:
Kindly note that, in terms of a standing Council policy, anyone who provides information that leads to the successful prosecution of a person or persons who wilfully and intentionally damage or steal critical infrastructure may receive a reward of up to R5 000.
